A few weeks ago, a German couple, Maria and George Tietjen walked into my office with 12 Kalevala wall plates that they had been collecting over the years. They said they have been re decorating their house and had no use for them any longer. But they thought that we as Finns would understand the value and therefore wanted to give them to us. |
